Fracing has been used for decades, with less harm to the environment than windmills.<br /><br />An alternative hypothesis for Halliburton's behavior is that they can recognize the writing on the wall. Today's political clique is dominated by anti-human scientific illiterates -- people who want to treat plant food CO2 as a planetary threat; who wiped out apple growers with a false scare over alar; who are responsible for the deaths of uncounted African children by the unnecessary total ban on DDT.<br /><br />Now those same buffoons are going after fracing.
