I believe it will, and in fact I found your post after submitting a proposal on this topic at www.whitehouse.gov. With all the changes being proposed in green energy solutions and smart energy grids it does not make sense to continue a 19th century component of the system that leaves it so vulnerable to massive disruption.Mark in NHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13822253835126403380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5251183560375528307.post-88339499298084530102009-01-31T13:47:00.000-06:002009-01-31T13:47:00.000-06:00Thanks - however unless there is a national progra...Thanks - however unless there is a national program or a local incentive (hurricane frequency in Florida and Louisiana for example) the cost differential is going to argue against much change in the near term, I'm afraid.Heading Outhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01790783659594652657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5251183560375528307.post-36862551046430761872009-01-31T09:15:00.000-06:002009-01-31T09:15:00.000-06:00I completely agree with this post. Although our power company responded quicker than those in Louisville, we still went a day without power. I would like to see our powerlines go underground. Please keep me updated on this issue, I will check your blog every once in a while.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16751548049330488537noreply@blogger.com
